Positive Acceptance
Positive Acceptance (often abbreviated to Pacceptance) is based on the realisation that practically all unhappiness and dissatisfaction involves wishing something were already different, which is wishing for the impossible. Positive Acceptance, developed by UK-based psychologist Graham W. Price, is a technique that enables us to accept the past and the present moment while we refocus on what we need to do to change the next moment or the future.
Positive Acceptance is the basis for a radical change in the way we think, feel and act. It enables us to live our lives through a powerful combination of acceptance (primarily of the past and present moment) and action to create change.
Positive Acceptance is the most life changing technique I’ve ever learned. I use it all the time and it's now led to a complete transformation in my life.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) began its development with the creation of Cognitive Therapy by Aaron Beck in the 1960s. Until then Behaviour Therapy was the leading therapy for dealing with emotional and behavioural problems. Cognitive Therapy and Behaviour Therapy were later combined, creating CBT, the leading therapy in use today.
CBT is the single most effective and rapid approach for resolving psychological problems. Indeed it is so effective, as evidenced by extensive research, that it's now generally the only (or prime) approach recommended by independent authorities such as the UK National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE).
As its name suggests, the therapy has two components. It changes the way we think (the cognitive part) and act (the behavioural part).
Acceptance-Action Therapy
Acceptance-Action Therapy (AAT) is a relatively new therapy, developed by Graham W. Price, based on the techniques of Positive Acceptance . The latter combines acceptance of 'what is' with powerful action to generate change.
The two approaches work in harmony and support each other. The combination is a powerful therapy which is highly effective in resolving emotional and behavioural problems, giving each person a sound basis for moving their lives forward.
